Today was such a boring day. Blah. I mean boring and I am never bored. I always find something to entertain myself with but today was a day I just couldn't get unbored. I know I just made that word up but that's how bored I am. Grrr I hate being bored.

I just love old things. I love the stories behind them, I love that old smell (sometimes) and I love the look. This is an old book of one of my cousins. She was kind enough to let me borrow to take some photos. I just loved the title ( I try to be like that everyday) and the color and I had to photograph it. I actually had a really hard time picking the photo for today. I decided on this one only because of the pink.
I will post the other two I was debating on in a comment underneath. Maybe I will upload them later.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. :)

Dried Marigolds
interchangeableparts posted a photo:
We trimmed back the marigolds to make the carrot bed sunnier. For some reason, this season we've all just been tossing cuttings in the garden paths instead of taking them back to the compost (I'm guess that reason is "it's a bazillion-million degress with a thousand percent humidity"). Today I noticed all the marigold cuttings had dried in the sun. While they look super-cool today, I'm sure I'll be complaining this time next year about all the freaking volunteer marigolds taking over the garden!
